Going to the Beach Jamboard  is a fun summer activity requiring students to brainstorm, naming items one might take along when visiting the beach!  To start the activity, students initially brainstorm and type their ideas of items to take along, then they’re given visuals of possible items to name and discuss.  After considering each item shown, the students are asked to name 5 items again, recalling items that were originally listed and/or new items!  This activity addresses students’ vocabulary knowledge, recall abilities, and even categorization skills.
