Diana Pafriniuk:

Founder and CMO

My extensive commute allowed for time to ruminate on how I could reach more students and be more effective with the therapy I was providing. How could I be more efficient? How could I get out of my car and in front of those who needed me? I knew that traditional onsite therapy wasn't enough; there had to be a way to provide speech therapy to kids wherever they are.

I set about finding a solution. Remember, this was 2009, and it was an uphill battle to gain trust from educators and therapists that telepractice was a successful delivery model. Thanks to ASHA and it's support, I was able to dig in my heels and chart my own teletherapy path. Through good timing and loads of research and investigation, I used existing technologies to provide teletherapy services remotely. At that time, it was a new and innovation service delivery model and E-Therapy was born!

For 12 years, I've been building upon that foundation of teletherapy expertise, and today I'm an online therapy expert who's sought out to offer in-depth knowledge on the topic of telepractice and special education. Not only did I create an efficient, scalable business, but E-Therapy has reached more students who didn't have access to services and therapy, like the students in remote areas, such as the Navajo Reservation. E-Therapy connected students to therapists - who otherwise would not be served, enhancing their opportunities for an overall higher quality of life.

If I wouldn't have been driving hundreds of miles every week none of this would have happened. I am grateful for the circumstance that brought E-Therapy into being, and that changed my life, hundreds of E-therapists' lives, and those of countless in school across the United States.
