June Activity Roundup

Welcome sweet summertime! No matter if you’re here to find a few activities to help you wrap up the school year or if  a year round schedule has you on the hunt for activities to fill your entire summer – the teletherapy experts at E-Therapy have you covered! Read on to discover all the great activities we’ve created to take the heat off your summer planning and to keep your therapy sessions cool.

June Calendar of Activities

Great news! We have updated our June National Day Activity Calendar for 2022. Grab your copy for instant access to a national day activity for every day of the month. These activities are perfect session icebreakers or the daily theme can  be used throughout the entire session to target specific therapy goals.

Hip Hop, Flip Flop Vocabulary and Categorization Game

Enjoy a game with a beachy feel! Shake the die, move your seashell, and label a category of items presented by the therapist, list 2 or 3 items in a category, or use your own requirements when a player lands on a 1, 2, or 3! Use your imagination and have some fun with our Hip Hop, Flip Flop Vocabulary and Categorization Game!

Under the Sea Spot the Difference

We hope this deep sea underwater adventure keeps your students cool and engaged while they locate 10 differences between two similar picture scenes.  The Under the Sea Spot the Difference visual perception activity works well in any therapy setting to target a variety of therapy goals. Be sure to unlock your treasure today.

Under the Sea Fine Motor Skills Sheets

Check out our Under the Sea Color and Cut Fine Motor Skills Sheets. Print out the sea themed sheets to practice coloring and scissor skills during onsite sessions or to send via email to print and use during remote sessions or for home practice. The sheets can also be used for tracing practice. Use screen sharing and give students mouse control to practice tracing skills using a mouse, finger, or digital pencil/stylus for remote sessions.

Under the Sea PT Game Board

E-Therapy’s Under the Sea Ocean Animal Gross Motor Motion and Movement Activity Game Board was created to be used in conjunction with our Under the Sea Movement Break Cards (keep reading below to grab your copy of those). After completing a sea creature movement from the drawn movement break card, students roll a dice or spin a spinner to move their game piece around the game board. First to the finish line wins! Have fun walking like a crab and jumping like a dolphin in this under the sea board game adventure.

Under the Sea Movement Break Cards

Use our Under the Sea Movement Break Cards, with sea creature themed movements, in conjunction with the Under the Sea Board Game above or use as a stand alone activity. The PDF movement cards can be screen shared during remote sessions or can be printed in color or grayscale.  Get your fins movin’ and groovin’ and hook your copy now.

Articulation Bitmoji Rooms

You’ve probably seen our E-Therapy Bitmoji themed-rooms and virtual classrooms, but this month, we’re sharing our Bitmoji virtual classrooms with a spin for speech therapists targeting articulation goals. Our Bitmoji rooms come preloaded with tons of interactive therapy links that you can use in your remote or in-person therapy sessions. If you’re an SLP, you won’t want to miss downloading your very own copy of each of the following:

/k/ Cupcake Shop

/l/ Lemonade Stand

Initial /r/ Robot Park

Vocalic /r/ Underwater Wonderland

/s/-Blends in Space

Oldies, But Goodies

You may have grabbed these two activities last year, but in case you misplaced them or in case you’re new to E-Therapy originals, we just wanted to remind you that they are still available in our Resource Library and make great end of the year activities to transition your students into summer.
